There should be little to no performance impact on most PCs and no performance impact on gaming PCs. There are/will be many different textures covered but the primary emphasis is on the main characters and Aeons. The textures provided are large 8192x8192 and/or 4096x4096 with the intent of great attention paid to fine detail and preserving art direction. HD textures done by me and my personal ReShade setup based on ReShade 3.0 made compatible with Project X. The guide consists of two main parts to set up. I have worked on re-texturing in quite a few other games (ME1, ME2, DAO, DOA5LR, Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 for the Dolphin Emulator and FFX) since, but this guide will be for FFX I won't get into those.
